Extended cookie policy

introduction
This information notice is provided, with reference to the website www.fondazioneschiappapietra.org (“Website”), by Fondazione Schiappapietra, with registered office in Via Castello 14 – 12052 Neive (CN) – Italy, VAT no. 02178950040.

What are cookies and what are they used for
A cookie is a text file that a website visited by the user sends to his or her terminal (computer, mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet), where it is stored so that it is retransmitted to that website on a subsequent visit to it.

Cookies are distinguished from each other:

– based on the party that installs them, depending on whether it is the operator of the website visited (so-called “first-party cookies”) or a different party (so-called “third-party cookies”)
– according to the purpose of each cookie: some cookies allow better navigation by storing certain user choices, e.g. language (so-called “technical cookies”), other cookies allow the user’s navigation to be tracked, including for the purpose of sending advertisements and/or offering services in line with the user’s preferences (so-called “profiling cookies”).
Only profiling cookies require the user’s prior consent to their use.

The Website uses first-party technical cookies, the installation of which does not require the user’s consent, as well as third-party profiling cookies, which, on the other hand, require the user’s consent to their use (described in section 2 “Cookies installed through the Website” below).

The Fondazione Schiappapietra is accountable, in its capacity as controller, only for the first-party cookies it installs on the Website
